Route description
KY 412 begins at an intersection with KY 84 (Raywick Road) south-southwest of St. Mary, in the west-central part of Marion. It travels to the south-southeast and immediately crosses a branch of Stewarts Creek. It curves to the south-southwest and begin paralleling Stewarts Creek. It curves to the southwest and crosses over the creek. It curves back to the south-southwest and intersects the western terminus of KY 2741 (McElroy Pike) before crossing over Rolling Fork. The highway enters St. Joseph, where it curves to the south-southeast. It parallels Knob Creek; then, it curves to the northeast and crosses over the creek. At this crossing, KY 412 leaves the creek. It curves to the east-southeast and enters Jessietown, where it has a one-block concurrency with KY 289. During the concurrency, they cross over Slate Creek. When KY 412 splits off, it travels to the east-southeast and curves to the northeast. It crosses over Moore Creek and curves to the northeast. It curves to the southeast and intersects US 68/KY 55 (New Campbellsville Road). The three highways travel concurrently to the northeast. When KY 412 splits off, it resumes a northeasterly direction. It crosses over Cloyd Creek and meets its eastern terminus, an intersection with KY 208 (New Calvary Road).[1]
