Karim Antoine Habib (born 1970[1]) is a Canadian of Lebanese descent automotive designer currently working for the BMW group.[2][3][4] He is the Chief Designer of the BMW marque, succeeding Adrian van Hooydonk in 2012.[5]
Habib moved to Canada in his early years and was educated at McGill University.[2] He also went to the Art Centre College for Design in Switzerland,[2]
He got his first break in BMW in 1998 working in the designing of exterior of the BMW 7 series.[2][3][4] He left to work for Mercedes in 2009 for a few years and came back to BMW in 2011 as exterior designer.[2][3][4]
