Kabul United FC is a professional football club established in 2010 in Kabul, Afghanistan that plays in the third division league of Afghanistan Football Federation.

Overview

Kabul United Club was formed in early 2010 in Kabul, Afghanistan and was using the grounds of Habibya High School as its first home. In May 2010, the Club moved to its new home in Afshar, the Afghanistan Civil Service Institute grounds. Since then, they have called ASCI grounds their home and have played their home games there. In 2009 they bought a dog called Emma. The dog was bought in a prank but ended up representing the team in the most amazing way. A mascot was formed. For the next five years (2009-2014) the club got the longest streak with five turnament victories in a row. Sadly Emma past away the 4. dec. 2014 and the following year Kabul United F.C did not win. Legend says that Emma still haunts the away team dressing room at Kabul Stadium.
