KTLN-TV is a Christian-themed TV station in San Rafael, California, broadcasting on UHF channel 47. KTLN is owned by OTA Broadcasting, LLC, a company controlled by Michael Dell's MSD Capital; however, the station is operated under a local marketing agreement by Chicago-based Christian Communications of Chicagoland, the former owners of Chicago's WCFC-TV, as part of its Total Living Network.[1]
Originally, Christian Communications of Chicagoland owned KTLN outright, but it filed to sell the station to OTA Broadcasting in June 2011.[2] The sale was completed in October 6, 2011; as part of the deal, Christian Communications of Chicagoland will continue to operate KTLN via a local marketing agreement through 2013.[1]
