KNZR (1560 AM) is a news/talk radio station based in Bakersfield, California, United States. The station broadcasts with 25,000 watts of power daytime and 10,000 watts nighttime, and can be heard in most of California and other Western states every night. KNZR is designated by the FCC as a "clear channel", Class A radio station. It is owned by Alpha Media, LLC, through licensee Alpha Media Licensee LLC. The station was assigned the KNZR call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on September 21, 1990.[1] An FM simulcast on KNZR-FM began in November 2011.
