KAJE (107.3 FM, "107.3 Jake FM") is a classic hits radio station licensed to Ingleside, Texas, USA.[1] The station serves the Corpus Christi area. The station is currently owned by Daniel Duman through licensee Convergent Broadcasting II LLC.[2] Its studios are located along South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, and the transmitter is in Ingleside.
On August 30, 2010 KRSR dropped its Star 107.3 adult contemporary format and began stunting with an all-Beatles format, with an announcement made at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010. Following the announcement, it became an adult hits format. The shift left rhythmic-leaning KKBA as the only AC station in Corpus Christi.
On September 7, 2010 KRSR changed their call letters to KAJE, to go with the "Jake FM" branding. However, since the flip of rival KKBA to adult hits in June 2011, KAJE changed entirely to a classic hits format, mainly due to no post-2000 songs at the station.
