Josh Saldanha[1] (born June 2, 1989 in Bombay) is an Indian drummer that is currently based in Dubai. He has performed with bands including Sandwash, Bull Funk Zoo,[2] Nikotin,[3] Carl and the Reda Mafia,[4] As Per Casper,[5] Svengali,[6] Jay Wud[7][8] and more. He is a permanent member of Empty Yard Experiment[9][10] and has recorded their 2nd album "Kallisti" with the band since he joined in 2013[11][12][13] shortly before the band was chosen to be the support act for Metallica at the Du Arena on Yas Island.[14][15]

He is known to be behind a lot of the technical aspects of Empty Yard Experiment's show and is a great singer.[10] He has also supported bands such as Mötley Crüe[16][17][18] and performed across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the UK with the bands that he performs with.[19][20][21] Josh has appeared in several music videos for various local bands in the country including Sandwash,[22] Private Government [23] and he has also appeared on Svengali's live music video for the song "Sink or Swim."[24]
