Joseph Shaw (academic)

Alexander Joseph Ranald Shaw (born 1971) is a British academic and the current chairman of the Latin Mass Society.

Shaw is the son of the late Thomas Shaw, 3rd Baron Craigmyle (1923-1998) and Anthea Craigmyle (née Rich) (1933-2016).[1] He was educated at Ampleforth College[2] and the University of Oxford.

He is currently a Fellow of Philosophy at St Benet's Hall, Oxford.[3] His main areas of interest are ethics, the philosophy of religion and medieval philosophy.[4] In 2015, he was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.[5]
