Jordan Henderson-Quartey (born 18 April 1994), better known by his stage name Jordan Angel Henderson, is an English rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer from Pinner, Greater London. He gained recognition for his work with former Shady Records rapper Cashis.
Early life
Henderson was born in to a family of five in 1994. He attended Nower Hill High School from the years 2006-2011. He decided to not go to University but instead pursue music. He had already started making music from the age of ten under the name 'T Xclusive' making Grime music, and by the age of 14 had been on numerous underground radio stations.
Career
By the age of nineteen Henderson had been noticed by ex Aftermath Records & Shady Records rapper Stat Quo.[1] He released his first single Midas Touch in November 2013 which received notable acclaim, also releasing a remix version of the track featuring former Shady Records rapper Cashis.
In November 2013 he released his first single, "Midas Touch". Henderson announced he would be releasing his mixtape, If Only You Knew,[2] in January 2015, however it came out in December 2014 on Google Play. The mixtape has several features from former Flipmode Squad rapper Rah Digga, UK rapper Scorcher, jazz singer Paula Rae Gibson, Abel Miller, former Diplomats rapper J.R. Writer and Cashis.
Jordan Henderson also appeared on a 0 to 100 / The Catch Up remix of Drake alongside 50 Cent, Meek Mill, Vado & Joel Ortiz.[3]
In February 2015 Henderson released his new single Overdose featuring Paigey Cakey & Abel Miller.[4] [5]
In June 2015 Jordan Angel Henderson launched a modelling career with Blackberry Models. [6]
In July 2015, Henderson announced he would not be releasing material for the time being, due to wanting to 'go back to the drawing board' and create a new sound. [7]
Personal life
In 2012 Henderson changed his birth name from Jordan Hoo-Quartey to Jordan Henderson-Quartey.
