Joondalup railway station is a railway station on the Transperth network. It is located on the Joondalup line, 26 kilometres from Perth station serving the regional metropolitan city of Joondalup.
History
Joondalup station opened on 20 December 1992 as the interim terminus of the Joondalup line.[1] The line was extended to Butler in 2014.[2]<ref
Station layout
Joondalup is one of the few below ground stations on the Transperth network. In many respects, its design is quite similar to that of Subiaco on the Fremantle line in that it is below ground in a growing transport-oriented development precinct. The station lies in an open cut north of Collier Place with a busway surrounding the east, west, and northern sides of the station.
Services
Joondalup station is served by Transperth Joondalup line services.[3]
