John Lefeaver

John Lefeaver (25 December 1817 – 20 December 1879) was an English cricketer who played for Kent during the early years of the club's history, in a career which saw the creation of Kent as a county cricket team, and field what was then one of the strongest sides in England. A bowler and batsman of unknown handedness, Lefeaver made six sporadic appearances for Kent and a Kent XI between 1841 and 1854, netting two wickets and scoring 124 runs, scored largely at the end of the batting order. He was born in Stile Bridge, and died aged 61 in Upper Hardres, Kent.[1]
