Hassan Jamil Khan better known by his stage name Jimmy Khan is a Pakistani singer and songwriter from Lahore, Pakistan. He is also founder and lead vocalist of the band "Jimmy Khan & The Big Ears".[1][2][3]
Life and career
Jimmy was born in Lahore, Pakistan. He attended Beaconhouse National University. Jimmy worked as an in-house singer at Gun Smoke restaurant, Lahore in 2005. He made his debut in July 2011 with the single “Pehla Pyar”.[4][5] In 2014, Jimmy founded the band Jimmy Khan & The Big Ears and joined Coke Studio where the band performed their debut song "Nadiya" featuring Rahma Ali with Jimmy as the vocalist.[6] Jimmy then performed the song Ajeeb Daastaan with Rahma Ali as a tribute to Lata Mangeshkar. He said in an interview: “Ajeeb Daastaan is a song that I’ve been extremely excited to release, because not only is it a classic but it’s a song I am personally very much attached to for many reasons – It’s been a family favourite ever since I can remember, and I’ve been performing this song on my own for several years now.”[7][8]
