Jimmy Attre

Jimmy Attre (Urdu: جمی اٹری) is a Pakistani pop singer and musician. He is best known for the remixed single Zamana Nazuk Hai,[1] which was also the title track of his first musical album with the same name. He comes from the third generation of the musical 'Attre family', with his renowned grandfather Rasheed Attre having been a well known music composer and director of his time and also a Nigar Award winner twice in the early 1960s, and his uncle Wajahat Attre also having been in the film music industry.[2]

Originally from Lahore, Attre's family relocated to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia when he was young and he hence spent much of his early life there. When he was a teenager, he moved back to Lahore and completed his matriculation examination (high school equivalent), intermediate and bachelor's degree in Lahore. It was in Lahore where he initially trained as an artist.[2][3] Internationally, he has performed concerts in the United States, Dubai and Kuwait.[2]

For recreation, Jimmy enjoys television, internet, reading, social interaction with people as well as travelling. He is fond of visiting the northern areas of Pakistan. Jimmy Attre gained the award for worst song of the year in 2009.[2]
