James E. Springer (born June 17, 1926) is an American former professional basketball player.[1] He played in the National Basketball League, Basketball Association of America, and American Basketball League during the early years of modern professional basketball in the United States.[1][2][3] Spring played collegiately at Canterbury College in Danville, Indiana.[4]
