The Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP), established in 1994,[1] is a non-profit association of individuals, corporations and organizations in the Greater Philadelphia region. Its aim is to encourage understanding, appreciation and cooperation between the peoples of Japan and United States by providing opportunities for members of both communities to connect in business, cultural, social, educational and political spheres. Programming established by the JASGP to this end includes the Annual Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival, the Annual Philadelphia-Japan Health Sciences Dialogue, and the Bi-Weekly Japanese Language Conversation Club.

The JASGP is a part of NAJAS, a national non-profit U.S. network dedicated to public education about Japan consisting of approximately 40 independent Japan-related organizations located in 32 cities around the country.
