Jamie Young (from Indiana)[1] is a current assistant coach for the Boston Celtics of the NBA. He has been with the Celtics franchise for thirteen years and has previously served as an advance scout and video coordinator for the team.[2]

Personal life

Young graduated from Blackburn College in 1998. He earned a bachelor's degree in physical education. He and his family reside in Waltham, Massachusetts.[3]

Former Celtics head coach Doc Rivers praised Young for his "incredible work ethic" and "great basketball mind".[4]
