Jamal Aliyev (Russian: Джамал Aлиев, Azerbaijani: Camal Əliyev) is an Azerbaijani cellist. He was born in Baku, on 2 September 1993.[1]

Jamal made his debut with BBC Concert Orchestra, Live Broadcast on BBC Radio 3 at the Menuhin Hall, London in 2012.[2] Same year, he took part at the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, in Switzerland performing solo with the Yehudi Menuhin School Orchestra.[3]

Jamal began his musical studies at age 5, with his grandfather Kara Aliyev.[4] He recorded his debut CD at Champs Hill Records on a Russian Theme in March 2015 - UK.[5]
