Jabar Akil Westerman (born May 13, 1989 in Brampton, Ontario) is a Gridiron football defensive lineman for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League. He was selected second overall by the Lions in the 2012 CFL Draft and signed with the team on May 28, 2012.[1] He was ranked as the eighth best player in the Canadian Football League’s Amateur Scouting Bureau final rankings for players eligible in the 2012 CFL Draft.[2] His brother, Jamaal Westerman, plays for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He played college football with the Eastern Michigan Eagles.[3]
