Leonardo (A5301) is a NATO Coastal Research Vessel owned by NATO and operated by Italian Navy as Research vessel,[3] shared by CMRE - Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation, in La Spezia Italy.

History

Leonardo was commissioned on December 2002 to NATO Underwater Research Centre - NURC and now CMRE - Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation of La Spezia, regarding acoustic and environmental fields [4]

Since 16 November 2009 shifted under Italian flag and commissioned to Italian Navy.
