International Fiberglass was a company founded in Venice, California in about 1963, when Steve Dashew purchased Prewitt Fiberglass Animals and acquired all of the moulds created by Bob Prewitt.[1]
The company had made fiberglass boats, but starting making giant figures by 1964, known as Muffler Men, until about 1974.[2]
