The House at 102 Staniford Street in the Auburndale section of Newton, Massachusetts, is a rare surviving element of Auburndale's agricultural past. The 2 1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built c. 1869, and exhibits vernacular Italianate styling in its round-arch windows in the gables. The present entrance, sheltered by a full-width porch, is in what was originally the rear ell of the house. The property also includes two 19th-century barns.[2]
The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.[1]
