Hou Sheng-mao (Chinese: 侯勝茂; pinyin: Hóu Shèngmào) is Taiwanese physician. He was the Minister of Department of Health in 2005-2008.
Early life
Hou obtained his doctoral degree in clinical medicine from National Taiwan University (NTU).[1]
Early career
Hou had been the vice superintendent of National Taiwan University Hospital, and director and professor of the School of Medicine of NTU.[1]
Department of Health
The nomination of Hou was announced by Premier Frank Hsieh in February 2005.[2][3]
