Hiranandani Foundation School, Powai
The Hiranandani Foundation School, Powai, Mumbai, India, was established in 1990 in Hiranandani Gardens. The school follows the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) curriculum and teaches using the English language. It offers schooling for students from nursery to tenth grade.[1] A second branch, the Hiranandani Foundation School Thane, has opened in Hiranandani Estate (Complex) in Thane.
Campus
The Hiranandani Foundation School at Powai comprises two buildings.The old school building is a five-storeyed building, which consists of two wings, and a playing field. The new school building was inaugurated on 13 June 2007, and is only used by the secondary section. The new school building is five storied as well, but is much larger than the other school. The new school was included for the students from ninth to twelfth for the first two years. The secondary section has been extended to eleventh standard in 2007-2008, and twelfth in 2009 and after.

Uniform
Boys of secondary wear informal uniform with a maroon tee shirt and grey trousers along. Girls wear a maroon tee shirt with a grey skirt. Boys and girls wear the same uniform in primary school as well, except the tee-shirt is white and not maroon.
A sports uniform is worn on days when sports are going to be played. The sports uniform is a house coloured (Red, Blue, Green or Golden) t-shirt and white shorts bearing the school logo and house colours for boys as well as girls.
The students wear black formal shoes with the formal uniform and white canvas shoes with the sports uniform. The boys of eleventh are expected to wear the same uniform as the secondary section. The girls need to wear the same uniform as the boys.
An ID card is worn around the neck on both uniforms on all days. The uniform is the same for the sister school at Thane.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
In July 2008, HFS inaugurated the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, administered by the IB Organization, based in Geneva. The Diploma programme offers a study course that prepares the students for assessments in six subject areas through 11th and 12th.
