History
Hill Country Christian was founded in 1996. The elder board of Hill Country Bible Church (HCBC) and a subcommittee of staff and church members developed a strategy to build a Christ-centered, Classical, college-preparatory school to serve local families. Forty-nine students were enrolled the inaugural year. In 1998, the school consolidated with Hill Country Christian Heritage School, and in 2000, the school celebrated its first graduating class.
