Higgins Independent School District

Higgins Independent School District is a public school district based in Higgins, Texas (USA).

In addition to Higgins, the district also serves the community of Lipscomb.

Higgins ISD has one school Higgins High School that serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelve.

Academic achievement

In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]

Higgins High School plays six-man football.
