Herengracht index
The Herengracht index[1] (or Herengracht house index[2]) is a house index of house prices along the Herengracht canal in Amsterdam.[2] The index was created by real estate finance professor Piet Eichholz of Maastricht University.[3] The Herengracht house price index goes all the way back to the construction of the Herengracht in the 1620. First it was published from 1628 up to 1973,[1][4] and later extended to 2008.
