Haveli District is the 9th districts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It was formerly a part of Bagh District, but it separated from Bagh on 1 July 2009 and become the ninth district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.[1]

According to the Alif Ailaan Pakistan District Education Rankings 2015, Haveli is ranked 17 out of 148 districts in terms of education. For facilities and infrastructure, the district is ranked 146 out of 148.[2]
