The Hannah Mitchell Foundation is an English political organisation devoted to promoting devolved regional government to the North of England. Formed in early 2012, it is named after the prominent early 20th century socialist and suffragette Hannah Mitchell.
The foundation argues for a devolution of power to either one or more regional assemblies in the North, whilst simultaneously promoting the principles of mutuality, co-operation, community and internationalism.[1]
