HECK are a British rock band formed in Nottingham, England in 2009 under the name Baby Godzilla. They were forced to change their name after a lawsuit from Toho.[1][2]
Musical style
Heck's musical style has been described as mathcore,[3][4][5] punk thrash,[6][3] thrash metal,[6] punk rock,[6] heavy metal,[6] thrashcore,[6] hardcore punk,[4] progressive metal,[4] punk metal,[6] stadium rock,[6] groove metal[7] and borderline grindcore.[6] They have been compared to the likes of Iggy Pop,[6] Napalm Death,[6] The Dillinger Escape Plan,[3] Future of the Left,[4] Gallows,[5] Pulled Apart by Horses[5] and The Chariot.[5]
