Gymnopilus subtropicus is a species of mushroom in the Cortinariaceae family.
Description
The cap is 1 to 4.5 centimetres (0.4 to 1.8 in) in diameter.[1]
Habitat and distribution
Gymnopilus subtropicus grows on oak and palm logs. It has been found in Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Hawaii, during March and from June to August.[1]
