Gurpreet Sandhu (born March 16, 1965) is an Indian-based entrepreneur. He is currently the Managing Director of Reva Pharmachem (P) Ltd.^[1] He is also the Co-founder and Chairman of the realty and finance company Meriwealth.com.

Early life

Sandhu was born in Tarn Taran in Punjab, India. The eldest of three children, his father T.S.Sandhu ( Tarlochan Singh Sandhu) was an employee of Punjab Agricultural University LUDHIANA. He was Estate Officer of the P.A.U.Ludhiana. and his mother died when he was young. He attended St. John's High School in Chandigarh from 1971 to 1973, and then Sacred Heart Convent School in Ludhiana from 1973 – 1975 before passing his matriculation at A PEE JAY Public School in Jalandhar.

Sandhu received his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Economics and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana. He was awarded a Rotary International Fellowship Scholarship in 1989 – 1990 and then secured a second MBA with a specialization in International Business from Cardiff University in 1991.

Career

Sandhu is the Managing Director of Reva Pharmachem Pvt. Ltd and Co-Founder and Chairman of Meriwealth.com.^[2] He has served in management positions for various multinational corporations. In his early years Gurpreet worked with the TATA Group & Global Traders. He then worked at Matrix (Mylan), followed by 8 years as a director of the global API business in Ranbaxy (Daiichi Sankyo).^[3]

Sandhu is married and has one daughter.
