Guendalina Buffon (born 14 May 1973 in Carrara, Italy) is a retired Italian female volleyball player. She was part of the Italy women's national volleyball team.[1]
Personal life
Guendalina was born into a family of Italian athletes. His mother, Maria Stella, was a discus thrower and his father, Adriano, was a weightlifter.[2] Following their athletic retirement, they subsequently worked as P.E. school teachers.[3][4]
Guendalina's sister, Veronica, also played volleyball for the Italian national team; her brother, Gianluigi, is a professional football goalkeeper, who plays for Italian club Juventus and the Italy national football team.[5]
