Govone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southeast of Turin and about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,991 and an area of 18.8 square kilometres (7.3 sq mi).[1]
Govone borders the following municipalities: Castagnole delle Lanze, Costigliole d'Asti, Magliano Alfieri, Priocca, San Damiano d'Asti, and San Martino Alfieri.
