Gnishik (Armenian: Գնիշիկ) is a village in the Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia. The Gnishik community, including the town of Mozrov has a combined population of 141.
Nature
Natural habitats vary from semi-desert to mountain steppe and meadows. Vicinity of Gnishik community have been considered as a Prime Butterfly Area,[1] where wide variety of rare butterflies, including Papilio alexanor, Colias chlorocoma, Pseudochazara schahrudensis, Tomares romanovi, Maculinea arion, and number of others can be observed.
