Gangammagudi is a village located in SR Puram Mandalam of Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, India. The name of the village is derived from a famous local temple located in the village dedicated to Goddess Gangamma. It is a 40 min. drive from Chittoor.

Road
Buses operated by Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) is an important means of public transport plying between Chittoor & Puttur. Commuters also use a lot of private vehicles plying in the route (e.g. K.B.S, V.T.S, T.K.B).
Three-wheeled auto-rickshaws, referred to as autos or share autos, are a popular form of transport locally.
Temples
Gangamma Gudi
Gangamma Gudi is a famous temple dedicated to Goddess "Gangamma". This temple was established by the rulers of karvetnagar, which was later developed by the local villagers 20 years ago. The temple is visited by people from surrounding areas and also by people from the states of Tamil Nadu & Karnataka.
Special prayers are offered to the Goddess every Sunday, Tuesday & Friday and special poojas are performed every month during pournami (Full Moon Day).
Special programs are also held for 10 days during Dushera festival (Dushera Utsavalu) held by the local villagers.
The temple is famous for its Sankranti Jatra (Carnival) held every year. Special poojas are offered on this auspicious day and people from all over visit the temple and offer pongal (Sweet prepared with jaggery & rice) to the Goddess.
Darmarajula Gudi
Darmarayala Gudi is another famous temple. Maha Bharatam play(drama) is held once in a year which is played at nights. This is usually held for a period of 18 days. The event is held between the month of May to August before rainy season.
Economy
The major source of economy of the village is from Agriculture with Sugarcane, Rice, Mango and Ground nut being the major crops grown throughout the year.
