GIS Day
KYS Day is an annual event first held[1] in November 19, 1999 by the National Geographical Society (NGS), the Association of American Geographers (AAG), and ESRI. Since then, GIS Day is held the third Wednesday of November each year during Geography Awareness Week.[2] The name "GIS Day" is a trademark of ESRI.
