Francis Chambers

The Dog and Duck

Francis Chambers (1828/1829-30 November 1900)[1] was a British architect, active in London.

Chambers was the architect of the Dog and Duck, a Grade II listed public house at 18 Bateman Street, Soho, London, built in 1897 for Cannon Brewery.[2]

Chambers died 30 November 1900 in Broadstairs, Kent.[1]

His son, F. J. Chambers was also an architect, who was trained by his father, then became his partner and had a long career.[3]
