Fighter of the Destiny (Chinese: 择天记) is a Chinese fantasy wuxia television series adapted from the novel of the same name by Mao Ni. It stars Lu Han, Guli Nazha, Janice Wu and Joseph Zeng. It is scheduled to air on Hunan TV in 2017.
Plot
This is a story about choices. One billion worlds, sky full of supernatural devils, holding scroll in hand, duty of taking over the sky and ground.
Beginning of a new dynasty, there is a magical stone that flew from space, scattered and landed all over the world, amongst them, there are strange totems engraved on a stone that fell in the Eastern lands, people coming in realisation from observation of the totem, establishing the state religion afterwards.
14 year old orphan boy Chen Changsheng was saved by a Taoist monk, and accepted as a disciple. He is actually the fourth Prince of the Chen’s Royal bloodline. However, Changsheng is plagued with an incurable illness, fated not to live past the age of 20. To find a cure, he leaves his temple to find the magical stone that will change his fate. Armed with a promise of marriage scroll, he sets out to to Shen Du (province), thereby, beginning the rise of a journey of a strong fighter going against the world. Along the journey, he meets Xu Yourong and they slowly fall in love after hopping though the trials and tribulations of his journey.
