Fabrizio Zoffoli (born 25 October 1987 in Ravenna, Italy) is an Italian classical violinist.
Life
Zoffoli began to study the violin at age seven with Piero Raffaelli and first appeared on stage at the age of eight. He continued his studies at the Milan Conservatory with Gabriele Baffero where he graduated with honors. He has also completed the soloist Diploma at the Imola Academy with Pavel Berman, Konstantin Bogino and has participated to masterclasses of Zakhar Bron, Francesco Manara, Pavel Vernikov and Rodion Shchedrin.[1]
He played with the soprano Wilma Vernocchi,[2] the pianist Stefano Bollani [3] and the violist Danilo Rossi.
He dedicates with attention to contemporary repertoire and he has played the "Menuhin Sonata" by Rodion Shchedrin as first Italian performance [4] and the "Improvvisazione sul corale was mein gott will di J. S. Bach" by Ferdinand Weiss as world premiere.[5]
He currently plays a violin[6] made by Marino Capicchioni,[7] built in Rimini in 1962.
