Eugene G. Munroe
Eugene G. Munroe (8 September 1919 – 31 May 2008) was a Canadian entomologist who discovered numerous species of insects. He worked for the Insect Systematics and Biological Control Unit, Entomology Division, Ottawa, Canada.[1]
Munroe was "the acknowledged authority on the Pyraloidea worldwide for many years"[1] From 1976 to 1982, he also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Moths of America North of Mexico.[1]
