Estrella War
Estrella War is an annual American medieval camping event held for over thirty years[1] by the Society for Creative Anachronism—a "war" mainly between two large regional SCA groups: the Kingdom of Atenveldt and the Kingdom of the Outlands.[2] After Pennsic War, Estrella is one of the largest annual SCA events,[3] with several thousand people attending each year, some from as far as Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, and Australia.
Most Estrella wars are held near Phoenix Arizona in late February and lasts around 7–9 days.[4] The event centers on mainly pre-17th century history and culture with all campers dressing in medieval clothing.[5][6]
