Ercole Grandi
Ercole Grandi (1491–1531) was an Italian painter of the early-Renaissance period, active mainly in Ferrara. Also known as Ercole da Ferrara. He was the pupil of the painter Lorenzo Costa. In Ferrara, he painted the frescoes for the church of San Pietro Martire (now demolished), though some frescoes preserved. A painting of the Conversion of Paul is held in the National Gallery of London.
