Ephysteris brachypogon is a moth in the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1937. It is found in South Africa.[1][2]

The wingspan is 10–12 mm. The forewings are light yellowish, sprinkled or irregularly irrorated fuscous and with the extreme costal edge white. The stigmata are black or dark fuscous, the first discal rather obliquely beyond the plical but often obsolete. Sometimes, there are cloudy dark fuscous marginal dots around the termen and apical part of the costa. The hindwings are pale grey.[3]
