Elma Soiron (8 June 1918 in Acomb, Yorkshire – May 2016 in London) was an English actress, who is best known for playing Madame Dubois in The Path of Duty of the fourth episode of the first series of the British television series, Upstairs, Downstairs (31 October 1971).
She is also known for playing Madame Huguot in A Patriotic Offering of the first episode of the fourth series of the period drama Upstairs, Downstairs. It first aired on 14 September 1974 on ITV. She is also known for Crossroads (1964).
She played an old French woman in French village court house (France: October, 2089 AD)[1] of the eleventh episode of the first series of the British television series, The Tripods (24 November 1984).[2][3]
