El sargento Pimienta vino a Cuba en un submarino amarillo
El sargento Pimienta vino a Cuba en un submarino amarillo (English: Sgt. Pepper Came to Cuba in a Yellow Submarine) is Cuban author Ernesto Juan Castellanos’s second book about The Beatles.
The book, divided in two halves as a music record, with side A and side B, contains travel pieces of the author around Beatles related places both in London and Liverpool, interviews with John Lennon’s original Quarrymen, Beatles biographer Hunter Davies, Beatles photographer Robert Freeman, and an interesting step-by-step travel chronicle of Paul McCartney’s four-hour visit to Santiago de Cuba on 14 January 2000, accompanied with his children James and Stella.
The author has also written three other non-fiction books, Los Beatles en Cuba: Un viaje mágico y misterioso, La guerra se acaba –si tú quieres, and John Lennon en La Habana with a little help from my friends.
