Don't Destroy Me is a rockabilly song written by Barry Mann and Joe Sharpiro and recorded by "Crash" Craddock in 1959. Don't Destroy Me was his first hit song in the United States, he would later become a popular country singer in the 1970s. The song stayed on the charts for one week at #94. It and the flipside of the record, Boom Boom Baby, were big hits in Australia in 1959-1960.
