Towns and suburbs include Berry, Bomaderry, Callala Bay, Culburra Beach, Gerringong, Kangaroo Valley, Kiama, Milton, Minnamurra, Nowra, Shellharbour, Shell Cove, Sussex Inlet, Ulladulla and Warilla.

The current Member for Gilmore, since the 2013 federal election, is Ann Sudmalis, a member of the Liberal Party of Australia.

History

When the seat was established, it was centred on the Southern Tablelands city of Goulburn and the South West Slopes town of Cowra and was held by the Nationals John Sharp, who went on to become a senior minister in the Howard government. A redistribution ahead of the 1993 election moved the seat towards the South Coast, along similar lines to its present boundaries. Sharp moved to the neighbouring Division of Hume and the seat was briefly held by the Australian Labor Party. Since 1996, the seat has been held by the Liberal Party.[1]
