De Weere (West Frisian: De Weare) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Opmeer, and lies about 10 km northwest of Hoorn.
In 2001, the town of De Weere had 163 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.051 km², and contained 71 residences.[1] The statistical area "De Weere", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 850.[2]
