Dawn Sowell
Dawn Sowell (born 27 March 1966, Philadelphia) is an American former sprinter who ran the fastest times in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash in 1989.[1]
Sowell attended Louisiana State University and she was tipped to be the next Florence Griffith-Joyner. She retired from track & field due to chronic injury problems and is now a public speaker, focusing on health and wellness.[2]
