David Tangata-Toa (born 15 July 1981 in Gold Coast, Queensland) is currently the assistant coach of the Penrith Panthers New South Wales Cup (rugby league)Competition squad.[1]
Playing career
Tangata-Toa previously played for Hull Kingston Rovers and the Crusaders in the European Super League.[2][3]
Coaching
Tangata-Toa, in 2014 he holds the role of assistant coach of the NSW cup side at Penrith Panthers Rugby League Club, a full-time squad. He was player-coach of the Windsor Wolves in the Bundaberg Red Cup in 2011. In 2012 he was assistant coach for the NSW Cup Windsor Wolves side, and was assistant coach to the Penrith Panthers NYC Holden Cup in the 2013 season. He was promoted to head coach of the Panthers NYC side in Round 7 of the 2013 season, as former NYC coach, Garth Brennan went on to coach the Windsor Wolves New South Wales Cup squad.[4]
